ABOUT US

Welcome to the DFW Bassmasters. Our club was created in February, 2007 as a TBF sanctioned club. In 2012 we will be open to non-TBF members and will operate as a regular Bass Club. It is our goal to stimulate public awareness of bass fishing. We offer our state conservation department our organized moral and political support and encouragement and to promote full adherence to all conservation codes. We encourage, facilitate, and promote youth fishing activities and education and a love for this great recreation. It is also our goal to improve skills as anglers through a fellowship of competition and a sharing of knowledge with fellow club members.

   We will fish 12 club tournaments a year using a point system for qualification for end of year awards, or advancing to Top 6 Regional tournaments. We are an individual based club, however we will have one Team tournament per year. We will also have one 2 day tournament per year.

     We organize kids fishing events and will from time to time sponsor open tournaments.
