The 2010 Texas TBF State Tournament was held on Lake Bob Sandlin on March 27, 28, 2010. DFW Bassmasters sent 8 anglers to compete in the event. On the 1st day of competition anglers were greeted with 25 mph wind from the south which eliminated fishing the north banks. Stevie Clifton led the DFW Bassmasters on the 1st day with 4 keepers at 7.72 lbs. There were only 4 five bass limits out of the 65 anglers the 1st day. On the 2nd day Stevie only had 3 keepers but they were the right size at 11.51 lbs for a 2 day total of 19.23 lbs and finishing the tournament in 4th place and qualifying for the TBF Divisional for the 2nd year in a row. They will be fishing at Truman Reservoir in Missouri where they not only will be fishing as the Texas State Team competing against the other 7 states in the Central Division to retain the title but will also be competing on an individual basis against the other 11 anglers from Texas where the Top 2 will advance to the TBF National Championship next year.
